Gionee revealed Marathon M5 along with Elife E8 at a special launch event in Beijing. Both these smartphones are said to be packed with best features and powerful battery. Let us tell you about the Gionee Marathon M5.
The highlight of Marathon M5 is its massive battery, a 6020mAh battery made up by two battery cells, each 3010mAh batteries. The company guarantees that the Smartphone with last up to 62 hours standby time on 5% battery. The device comes with dual fast charging chips and it can also charge other devices. The phone is said to offer 2 hours 26 minutes talk time if you charge it for 30 minutes and it will stay all day long if you charge the phone for 30 minutes. As per claims, the device will stay 2 days if used exceedingly and around 4 days with average usage.
Let’s talk about other features. The device has a unibody metal design and is slim and sleek. The company should be applauded for packing such a huge battery in such a sleek phone. The dual SIM Smartphone comes with 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and boasts a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor coupled with 2GB RAM and MALI-T760 GPU.
The device has 16GB internal memory and sports an SDcard slot to expand memory. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera, and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS with Gionee’s Amigo UI 3.1 on top. It supports 4G LTE along with other connectivity options. The Gionee Marathon M5 is available in Black, White and Gold colors at a rate of 2299 Chinese Yuan that is US$ 370 (approx. INR 23656). The Smartphone will be available from July 25th in China only and is set to launch in August in India.
