Xiaomi has become the world’s largest Smartphone maker in the world, tipping Samsung off the top place. Xiaomi is currently running high on the success of Mi4, Mi4i and Redmi. We earlier revealed the leaked features of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship Mi5 and Mi 5 Plus. Now there have been latest reports about the specs of the upcoming highly-awaited smartphone.
The two upcoming flagship devices of Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi 5 Plus will be launched in Q4 this year. Mi5 is said to be perfect for users who want a high-end smartphone with the best features at the best price. Mi5 Plus will be perfect for users who want a larger sized phablet.
Talking about latest leaked features, Mi5 will sport a 5.2 inch 2K LCD display of resolution 1440 x 2560 pixels protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 equipped with 2.5D effect. The Smartphone will reportedly come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM AND Adreno 530 graphics processor. Moving on to battery, Mi5 will pack a 3000mAh battery with quick charge support and will be capable of getting charged up to 30% in just 5 minutes. Charging speed will increase later. The Smartphone has also been optimized for continuous use so it will heat less. Mi 5 will come with a fingerprint scanner and will be available in 16/64 GB variants, with microSD card support. It is rumored to be priced at 2399 Yuan, approximately INR 24,500.
Talking about the bigger variant of Mi 5, Mi 5 Plus will sport a 5.7 inch display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection Mi5 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 graphics processor. The camera of Mi5 Plus is humongous, 23 megapixel primary camera equipped with laser autofocus and optical image stabilization, which will surely excite photography lovers, because of the amazing experience it claims to provide. There is good news for selfie lovers as well, as Mi 5 Plus will feature a 12 megapixel front camera. It will reportedly sport a 3500mAh battery and the quick charge feature will fully charge (100%) the phone in just 50 minutes. It will come in 32GB internal memory with SDcard support and will be priced at 3,000 Yuan approx. INR 30,700.
Both the phones, Mi5 and Mi 5 Plus are rumored to feature a bezel-less display and a fingerprint sensor. Both the Smartphones will run on MiUi 7.0 based on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS, also both the devices will obviously get a free upgrade to Android M. Both these smartphones are scheduled to launch this November.
