At the scheduled event today, Google has officially announced their two Nexus smartphones, called LG Nexus 5X and Google Nexus 6P. Both these devices are yet another variants of their already launched Flagships Nexus 5 and 6. Talking about the Nexus 5X, it will go up for Pre-order starting today itself in US, UK, Ireland and Japan but will start shipping somewhere next month, in October.
Coming to the price, Nexus 5X will come in two variants, i.e. 16GB and 32GB. The 16GB variant is priced at $379 (Rs. 24,970 approximately), while the 32GB variant is priced at $429 (Rs. 28,270 approximately). It will be available in three color choices including Quartz White, Ice Blue and Carbon Black.

The new Google (LG) Nexus 5X comes with a feature called “Nexus Imprint”. Well this is a fingerprint sensor which is nicely placed at the rear of the phone. The reason why Google has named it as Nexus Imprint because they claim it to recognize the fingerprint in less that 600 milliseconds. Really? Wow.Now obviously this to unlock the phone and making payments using Android pay. But it will also let you lock unlock applications.
The phone also comes with Always-on Google Now. Which means the phone hears your command even when it is locked or screen is turned off. You get a complete hands-free response. As we heard Google is bringing the USB Type-C support with their latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, well, Nexus 5X has the reversible USB Type-C port as well.
