As scheduled, Meizu today launched the successor of m1, called Meizu m2. It is a budget smartphone priced at just Rs. 6,999/- Meizu m2 can be a strong competitor for other devices in this price ranged because of its impressive specifications. The phone will be available from Snapdeal from October 12th in four color options including Pink, White, Grey and Blue. Users interested for the sale can register for the sale now. Talking about the specifications, Meizu m2 features a 5 inch HD display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution with 1000:1 contrast ratio. The display is further protected with AGC Dragontrail glass for better durability.The phone comes out of the box running Android 5.1 Lollipop with FlyMe OS 4.5 and supports Hybrid Dual SIM slots allowing you to use the second slot as microSD slot.
Meizu has powered the phone with 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor accompanied 2GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU making it pretty good in performance as well as multitasking. As per storage, we get built-in 16GB internal memory and supports external SD card upto 128GB. In the camera department, the phone sports 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5p lens with Gorilla Glass 3 protective lens glass. At front facing, the phone carries 5 Megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 4p lens.
Meizu m2 also seem good in connectivity supporting 4G LTE along with 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), GPS / GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0. It is running on 2500mAh battery.
