At the ongoing CES 2016 event, BLU has introduced two new smartphones with quite good specs and Metal body, called BLU Vivo 5 and BLU Vivo XL. The devices will be available via Amazon and Bestbuy in USA. As per the price and availability, Vivo 5 will be available from next month, February, at the price of $199. While the Vivo XL will be available from later this month for $149.
Except the RAM, Storage and Color, there is no other change in both the phones. While Vivo 5 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage memory, Vivo XL has just 2GB RAM and 16GB storage memory. Rest all specifications are exactly same on both the phones that includes a Metal body packaging with 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. They are powered by 1.3 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek 6753 Processor coupled up with MALI-T720 graphics GPU.
The devices are running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and soon will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Supporting Dual SIM cards, they carry a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash having 1.12mm pixel size, 1/3 inch sensor and 2.0mm aperture. On the front facing, we get a 5 Megapixel selfie camera. In terms of connectivity, the devices support 4G VoLTE, HSPA+, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB Type-C. BLU has backed up both the phones with 3150mAh battery.
