At the ongoing MWC 2016 event, Gionee has introduced yet another powerful smartphone under its S lineup, called Gionee S8. The phone comes with pretty powerful specifications and stylish Full Metal Design. The phone will hit the market by the end of March 2016 in Rose Gold, Grey and Gold color options at the price of 449 Euros, that is approximately $494 or Rs. 33,900/- That’s not all. With the launch of Gionee S8, the company has also revealed its new Logo.
Talking about the phone, it is packed under Full metal body having 74.9% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with 5.5 inch 1080p AMOLED display with pressure sensitive 3D touch like iPhone 6S that reacts on the pressure you put on screen. The phone supports Hybrid Dual SIM slots and comes out of the box running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is having the company’s own Amigo OS 3.2 on top of it that gives you some extra interesting features such as you can install Two WhatsApp for each sim on the same phone, it supports Floating window allowing you to watch YouTube or videos without closing other apps, and more.
The Fingerprint Scanner integrated in the physical home button on the front seems to be fast enough too. It responds in 0.1 seconds and identifies in just 0.38 seconds. Let’s take a look at all its amazing specifications.
