Airtel has launched free WiFi Hotspots for public in Gurgaon city of Haryana. It is available in MG Road, Sadar Bazaar, Sector 29 market and Sarhaul Village. People visiting these areas can search for ‘MCG powered by Airtel’ hotspot from their WiFi smartphones or any other devices and connect it instantly.
Though it is free, but it has to be limited to keep control on people’s habit, of course. People can use this free WiFi quota of 30 minutes every day per device. Post 30 minutes, there will be a nominal charge on data usage. If you are non-airtel user using more data, you will need to buy a affordable online vouchers. An if you are Airtel user, post data usage will be deducted from your data packs.
Another advantage for Airtel users is they can connect these Free WiFi hotspots via Airtel Hangout app. The service launched today by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana. Commenting on the launch, Dhruv Bhagat, CEO – Delhi/NCR, Bharti Airtel, said:
