LibreOffice Viewer final edition for Android is now available for download. The software is supported by an enterprising community, depicted by The Document Foundation, which is non-profit company located in Germany. The application is Open Source for tablets and smartphones and allow you to view docs, spreadsheets and presentations in Open Document and also in Microsoft Office formats.
You can also do basic editing in the documents, like changing font styles, modifying words, etc. You cannot perform critical tasks yet as editing is still an experimental feature and not completely developed. “It will be enhanced to a fully-fledged editing solution in the future, with the help of our steadily growing developer community”, says the company.
LibreOffice Viewer Beta features:
