Only Samsung can gamble with the technologies and OS, Samsung is doing well with Android OS but still Samsung is trying hands with Windows OS whose existence is not much liked by the people.
Samsung definitely would have planned something behind the release of this phone. Samsung has tried to introduce its best hardware and specifications for new Windows OS phone which will definitely drag everybody’s attention all over globe. What’s new in this phone and what strategies Samsung has made to make this phone successful, which new hardware and specifications is been installed to beat the other Windows operating phone. Design and Packaging:
Samsung phones are not meant to have creative designs for each flagship; you will find every Samsung phone related to other in terms of design. Very minute difference is observed when we talk about Samsung phones. Same is repeated with Samsung Ativ SE, if you have encountered Samsung S4 then you will get confused between Ativ SE and S4 because they have almost same body design except of speakers located at back. Samsung has used very familiar body material for Ativ SE which we have already encountered in different Samsung models.
Body of Ativ SE is tough and rigid to handle daily rigors of life, body is plastic finished but seems like metal coating which is derived from Samsung Note 2. Phone has dimensions of 137.7 x 69.9 x 8.4mm which is impressive figures and weights more than Samsung S4. Phone gives good feel hold with perfect grip. Front of the phone is elegant like of Samsung S4 with huge screen in front and below lays traditional Samsung buttons one for back, one for options and centre round button for Windows. Only difference is now middle round button will be Windows home button or start button.
Above the screen Ativ SE is given with VGA camera and set of sensors proximity and ambient light sensors with notification tray and Verizon Logo below earpiece. Back of the phone is given with rear camera and flash followed by it. Samsung logo at the centre of the back and followed by 4G branding makes this phone. Huge speaker at the bottom of the phone makes this phone to stand apart from traditional back design from Samsung.
Sides of the phone is chrome finished plastic which has volume rocker buttons on left of the phone and power button on the right of the phone. microUSB slot and microphone pinhole at the bottom of the phone and 3.5mm audio jack, active noise cancellation, IR blaster on the top. Design part is not so creative but tough and has premium looks.
Display / Screen:
Display of the Samsung will not give you any reason to point out faults and improvements required. Super AMOLED display placed by Samsung is most renowned and proven display which has superior color reproduction and perfect viewing angle. Pen Tile matrix technology provides you natural color output with perfect balance of RGB. 
Ativ SE has adopted display technology from Samsung S4; 5 inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 441ppi gives you sharper output. Screen is guarded by Gorilla Glass 3 so do not worry about the scratches on your phone. Contrast ratio of the display is good and has good Sun-legibility so that you can read your phone even under bright sunlight.
