Reliance has launched a new smartphone in its LYF series, called Reliance LYF Water 5. Priced at Rs. 11,699, the phone supports Micro + Nano Dual SIM cards and is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It sports an HD 5 inch IPS display with ASAHI Dragontrail glass protection offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Reliance has powered the new LYF Water 5 with 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor paired up with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU making the phone quite good in performance and multitasking.
The new Water 5 also seems pretty good in camera department with its 13 Megapixel rear camera having LED Flash. For Selfie fans, the phone carries a 5 Megapixel front facing shooter. As per storage we get 16GB on-board memory and it also supports expandable microSD card. Since Reliance Jio has launched its 4G services for public, LYF Water 5 supports 4G Vo LTE connectivity along with other standard options such as 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Reliance has backed up the phone with 2920mAh built-in battery.
