Huawei has launched yet another amazing smartphone under its Honor brand, named ‘Honor Magic’. As its name says Magic, its because the phone comes with several magical features. For example, its WiseScreen Sensor Magic intelligent sensor which along with front infrared camera recognize your hand and your eyes and put the phone into action by activating the screen when you just pick up the phone. And similarly, the screen goes off when you put down the phone or in the pocket.
That’s not all. Similarly, its FaceCode Intelligent Recognition lets new message notification reveal itself only for pre-registered faces to ensure users privacy. There’s yet another feature called DeepThink that offers you multi-facets information based on the current webpage when you Press and hold the home button.
Now talking about specifications, Honor Magic ha fingerprint sensor embedded with the Home button which can also be used to navigate to previous page, or to browse history, or to unlock the phone of course. You need to double tap to go to previous page and just swipe to browse history. The phone is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with company’s new Honor Magic Live OS.
The new Honor Magic is a Dual SIM phone and sports a 5.09 inch (2K) Quad HD AMOLED 3D curved glass display offering 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 950 (2.3GHz 4 x A72 + 1.8GHz 4 x A53) 16nm processor accompanied by Mali T880-MP4 GPU and 4GB of RAM making the phone good enough for smooth performance and multitasking. As per storage we get 64GB onboard store memory. Not sure if this is expandable.
The phone also seems good in camera section with its Dual 12 Megapixel rear cameras. Yes, there are 2 cameras on the rear facing with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 6P lens and 1.4um pixel size that promises you brilliant image quality in low-light conditions as well. Just like the company’s Flagship Honor 8.For Selfie fans, there also an 8 Megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Talking about connectivity features, Honor Magic supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. Huawei has powered the Magic with 2900mAh built-in battery that comes with Magic Charge fast charging support. It can boost up the battery up to 70% in just 20 minutes of charging.
