Vivo X9 is a new Flagship smartphone with Dual Cameras just like its bigger variant Vivo X9 Plus. Priced at $400 approximately, the phone comes with 1.59mm slim bezel having 5.5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display offering 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It has full metal unibody with unique U-shaped antenna design. We also get a Fingerprint sensor embedded with the home button for extra security of the device.
Supporting Dual SIM connectivity, the new X9 Plus is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS having company’s own skin Funtouch OS 3.0 on top of it. Vivo has powered the phone with 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor paired by Adreno 506 GPU along with 4GB of RAM from which you can expect faster performance and smoother multitasking. In terms of storage, we get onboard 64GB and 128GB storage memory with the phone itself. There doesn’t seems to be any MicroSD slot provided.
Being a Selfie expert phone, the new flagship comes with amazing Selfie camera setup. There are two cameras on the front that includes a 20 Megapixel shooter with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture along with the secondary 8 Megapixel front camera for capturing depth information in shooting selfies. While on the rear facing, the primary camera is 16 Megapixel with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. The phone also has 3.5mm audio jack with AKM4376 DAC.
In terms of connectivity, Vivo X9 supports 4G VoLTE along with WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. It is powered by 3050mAh battery having fast charging support.
