Vivo Y55L is a new mid ranged smartphone with 4G VoLTE launched in India at the price of Rs. 11980. The phone is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s own Funtouch OS 2.6 custom UI on top of it. It comes with Dual SIM support and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. Vivo has also added some software features like split-screen and a unique eye protection mode that ensures comfortable screen brightness by reducing blue light. There’s no Fingerprint sensor provided in the phone.
The phone further sports a 5.2 inch HD IPS 2.5D curved-edge display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Vivo has powered up the Y55L with Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor accompanied by Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM from which you can expect smoother performance.As per storage, we get internal 16GB memory with support of up to 128GB microSD card for expansion.
Under the hood, Y55L brings us an 8 Megapixel primary camera with LED Flash on the rear facing and a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera for Selfies and video calling. Along with 4G VoLTE it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The phone is backed up with 2650mAh battery.
