Lenovo has launched a new phone with latest Android software and full-screen display called ‘Lenovo S5.’ Starting at the price of $157, it comes in two different variants as per RAM & storage and goes up to $236. Though it is a mid ranged phone but has impressive camera and other specs. It is packed inside a metal unibody design and has a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone adding extra security layer to the device and its contents.
Lenovo S5 supports Dual SIM Cards with Hybrid slot and is running on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s own ZUI 3.7 on top and also has U-Touch 4.0 for gesture interaction. It sports a 5.7 inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution. Lenovo has powered the phone with 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU accompanied by 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage memory. Coming to the photography section, Lenovo S5 comes with Dual Camera setup on the rear facing, that includes a 13 Megapixel (Monochrome) + 13 Megapixel (RGB)for capturing portrait shots dual cameras with dual-tone LED Flash and f/2.2 aperture. While on the front facing, we get a 16 Megapixel Selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 0.2-degree wide-angle lens with real-time AI-powered face beautify features. The front camera also supports face unlock feature.
