While everybody showcasing their new Tech at MWC 2019, Barcelona, HMD Global too came up with its flagship smartphone named ‘Nokia 9 PureView’. As its name suggests, the phone offers Pure View of the world through its camera. Yes, that is its highlight.
Nokia is already known for its Camera technologies and features since long time. They have shown their expertise with this masterpiece too. Nokia 9 Pureview comes with whopping 5 rear cameras that includes a 12 Megapixel penta ZEISS Optics primary camera, two RGB and three monochrome lenses that helps to collect 10X amount of light making the picture vibrant and sharper.
The Tech used behind these 5 cameras captures HDR shots with all cameras simultaneously with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12MP depth map that results in a single 12 Megapixel picture outstanding dynamic range and depth of field which can be refocused later too.
Nokia 9 PureView is indeed capable to shoot 60 Megapixel pictures in burst mode and can even process data up to 240 megapixels. If you think thats all it has, nope, there’s more. With Nokia 9 PureView cameras, you can even capture uncompressed RAW “DNG” images and edit them using Adobe Lightroom directly on your smartphone. For Selfie fans, the phone carries a single but powerful 20 Megapixel front-facing camera.
In defining these Nokia 9 PureView cameras, Nokia said, “Each 12MP JPG image can benefit from outstanding detail in areas of both bright sunlight and dark shadows at the same time with incredible texture. The depth map allows beautiful bokeh, giving you the possibility to adjust focus in Google Photos after you have taken the shot”
Apart from these, other specs of Nokia 9 PureView consist of an amazing 5.99 inch Quad HD pOLED display offering 2560×1440 pixels resolution and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes out of the box running Android 9.0 (Pie) and is powered by 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (UFS) onboard storage memory.
The new Nokia 9 PureView is Water-resistant (IP67) phone and has In-display Fingerprint sensor, just like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S10+. It is backed up by 3320mAh battery with fast charging, and also supports Wireless Charging.

The Nokia 9 PureView is already up for pre-order in selective markets while the shipping will start next month, in March. It is priced at $699, that is approximately Rs. 49,500. The phone comes in only one color, that is Midnight Blue .
