Kids are fighting parents, stealing money to buy phones or to purchase in-game items, committing suicides, etc. It is indeed a matter of concern to many parents out there.
After the PUBG ban in Gujarat, while many die-hard PUBG lovers are upset, at the same time their parents and guardians got some relief. Yes, they are happy with the ban.
Now, according to the new Law, if someone is seen playing PUBG in the cities, will be arrested immediately and may face prosecution under the Central Government Act, section 188.
Ahmedabad police commissioner A.K Singh issued an order of immediate PUBG ban in the city. According to this notification, ban is implemented from March 8 Till April 30, as said by the Rajkot Police Commissioner Manoj Agrawal. He further mentioned that anyone can report if they find out someone playing PUBG.
Recently, while implementing the same order, the Rajkot police arrested three youngsters near the police headquarters.
Police Inspector on duty Rohit Raval said, “Our team caught these youths red-handed. They were taken into custody after they were found playing the PUBG game. We have registered two cases against them under IPC Section 188 for violating the notification issued by Police Commissioner and under Section 35 of the Rajkot police arrests 10 for playing PUBG despite ban Gujarat Police Act. This game is highly addictive and the accused were so engrossed in playing them that they could not even notice our team approaching them.”
Their Mobile phones have been seized immediately for further investigation. Before this incident, six college students were also arrested by the Rajkot Police for playing game which is banned and not following the orders. The three people taken in custody were merely playing the game, little did they knew that someday they will be arrested for playing a game.
One of the three arrested people was a graduate student, one works at a private company and another was just laborer. If you are PUBG addicted too, then be aware folks. What happened in Gujarat can happen in your city too.
