Design:
Coming to design part of the tablet, below 10,000 rupees price range every mobile manufacturer finds difficult to carve super body design for its flagship. Flipkart still has done lot to earn more points in design factor of its flagship. Body is 9.2mm thick and is made of plastic, resulting in slippery and shiny body of the tablet. One might experience difficulty to hold this tablet properly because of its slippery body. Sides of the tablet is smooth with sign to understand the hardware fixed on it, like it has marking of power button, volume +, USB slot and mic all hardware button is given with sign to read out and differentiate easily. It will be quite helpful for the new users to identify the hardware buttons and slots on the tablet easily.
Front of the tablet is very simple but different from other tablets. Simple in terms, because it has similar huge 7-inch HD display on the centre and different in the terms of hardware placed above display. You can notice earpiece at top centre of the tablet and below earpiece has front camera hardware installed. Earpiece is place at the top edge which looks very attractive and front camera below that earpiece is something new to observe in tablet. Sensors like proximity and ambient are place besides front camera. Below display you won’t find any capacitive buttons as it is included in the screen like most of the Sony flagship.
Coming to the sides of the tablet left side has power button followed by volume rocker buttons whereas right side of the tablet is kept empty. Upper side consist of just 3.5mm audio jack while below consist of microUSB slot and mic for audio input. Back of the phone is very interesting and it is inspired by Apple iPhone 5 design. It looks like it is fragmented in three parts upper, middle and bottom. Upper part has 5MP camera on the top left and followed by flash. Middle part of the back has logo and brand name of Digiflip Pro and below lies with speakers. Upper and lower part is little shiny whereas middle part is given with smooth plastic finish. Upper panel is removable and under that panel you will be allowed to insert your SIM and microSD card. Overall design part is innovative but build of the tablet will be rated in average section.
Display:
Digiflip Pro XT 712 has good resolution screen of 7-inch. Most of the low budget tablet lacks in display features so let’s find out what Digiflip Pro XT 712 has to show off. Capacitive 7-inch HD display has resolution of 1280X720 pixels with average pixel density allow having better color reproduction and vibrant output. As the tablet is having low pixel density then it is understood that viewing angle of the display is not much impressive. Brightness of the tablet is good you can adjust it manually or leave it on sensors present on the front; they allow display to adjust its brightness according to the lighting condition. Sun-legibility of the display is not good; it is hard to read content of the display under sun. Overall the display of the Digiflip pro has not impressed us so it will fall under average ratings.
Camera:
Digiflip Pro XT 712 is mastered with 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with flash. Camera seems to be just good as it performed very well in daylight shots and macro shots. Colors were vibrant and saturated while capturing picture in day light condition whereas while capturing pictured in low-light areas were disappointing as you will observe lots of noise in the picture. Flash helps in low-light condition but still you will not capture clear images. Front camera of the tablet is powered with 2MP strength but does not deliver like 2MP camera. Interface of the camera is powered by MediaTek camera UI and has similar features which are seen in MediaTek powered smartphone. Camera section of the tablet is above average though it managed to capture 1080p video with rear camera.
Hardware and Performance:
Basic and most important hardware of any smartphone or tablet, reliable is the hardware better is the performance. Digiflip Pro XT 712 is powered with Quad-core processor and 1GB RAM for better and faster computing on this tablet. Quad-core processor and RAM is installed on MediaTek MT8382 SoC along with Mali 400-MP2 GPU making multi-tasking and multi processing on this tablet easy and proficient. Working on multiple apps or browsing multiple windows is handled with ease on this tablet. Operating multi-tasking and multi-processing on this tablet did not show any lags or any glitch. Response time of processing task was good and that’s the enough reason to place this tablet in good ratings. Mali GPU is enough to handle HD games on your tablet and gaming on this tablet was smooth and very neat so Digiflip Pro XT 712 passes gaming test too. Phone is given with 16GB internal storage and out of 16GB you can access 12GB of internal storage. If you want to expand the memory of the tablet then you can make use of microSD card to increase the capacity of memory. You can set SD card as default write disk but you cannot move the data from memory to SD card.
