Xiaomi’s new budget friendly launch named Redmi 7A is now available in the market at the price of Rs. 5,999/-. The phone comes out of the box running Android 9.0 Pie based MIUI 10 Custom UI and supports Hybrid Dual SIM connectivity. It comes with P2i nano coating that makes it Splash resistant.
The new Redmi 7A features a 5.45 inch 18:9 HD+ 2.5D curved glass display offering 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. Xiaomi has powered it up with Octa-Core (Quad 1.95GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.45GHz Cortex A53) Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform accompanied by Adreno 505 GPU. Furthermore, it comes in two different variants including 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. Both can be expanded further upto 256GB using microSD card.
Under camera department, Redmi 7A carries a 12 Megapixel primary camera with LED flash, Sony IMX486, PDAF, 1.25um pixel size, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. There’s a 5 Megapixel front facing camera for selfie fans. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. Xiaomi is running the phone on 4000mAh built-in battery.
