Xiaomi recently launched a new variant of its new mid-range Note 7 series, called Redmi Note 7S. Some attention-grabbing features include Dotnotch display and P2i nano-coating making it splash proof.
The phone sports a 6.3 inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass LTPS in-cell display, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84% NTSC Color Gamut offering 2340 ×1080 pixels resolution. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Xiaomi has powered up Redmi Note 7S with Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU accompanied by 3GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage. Both the variants can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.
Under Camera department, the phone carries a whopping 48 Megapixel primary rear camera with 1/2″ Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, f/1.8 aperture with four-in-one pixel binning to make a 12 Megapixel image with a 1.6μm pixel. It has a 5 Megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and also comes with AI features. For video calling and selfies, there is a 13 Megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. With the fingerprint sensor, it also offers IR sensor. The device is packed up with a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 with 18W fast charging.
The price of the device depends on the variant, for 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version it is Rs 10,999 and for 4GB with 64GB version, it costs Rs 12,999.
