There is always something surprising by this world popular Chinese brand. Today we will be reviewing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.

Design:
The design part matters a lot because it is essential to find whether you are getting a durable device or not. When it comes to a mid range device then you cannot expect much durability. Here if you see Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G you will find that it is very much similar to Redmi 1S in design. I am quite impressed with the build quality here. This includes the body elements.
The back panel offers you a glossy thick plastic back cover with nice coating on the front to block fingerprint marks. It looks really great. The phone is not having any kind of cheaper look. At the front you can see a full black type layout. Most of the part is covered by the screen. For smooth navigation there are three capacitive touch buttons at the bottom side that will let you to control your phone and apps usage. The keys are fast responsive and the touch quality is also great here.
The device is not having any kind of durable glass cover. There must be a Gorilla Glass protection that can help users to use their phone in lot more effective way. The entire weight of this device is around 185g. And this does not make it really heavy. But the glossy rear panel can make the phone slippery on wet hands.
At the front, the device is having a 5.5 inch IPS display. This makes the picture quiet clear and bright and also it is easy to read under directly sunlight. There are sensors on the top side with 5 Megapixel front camera to take selfies. The power key and volume is provided on the right side that is easy to access. At the bottom there is a single micro usb port and at a top side we get a 3.5mm audio jack. This device also has a noise cancellation microphone at the bottom side.
At the rear facing we can see a 13 Megapixel camera which is further supported by LED flash. Pictures are bright and clear on the same. The speaker is placed at the bottom centre side. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has a removable back cover. The device runs on a 3200maH battery and the sim slot is also placed at the backside. It also has a microSD card slot.
Display Quality:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has an excellent screen quality. The device offers you a 5.5 inch IPS HD display where you get a 1280 x 720 max screen resolution @ 267ppi. But I am missing the durable cover on the screen. That means a Gorilla glass cover which can make it lot more secure and safer. So when you are using it you have to take a bit extra care. It is best to have a nice screen guard on the top side so that it won’t collect dust particles or scratches. Due to IPS display you get a very bright screen and also the colour reproduction is awesome here. The light sensors works really well in adjusting the screen brightness.
Software & UI:
Xiaomi loads its own custom skin in most of the device which is very light and gives you some iOS type of features. The device runs on the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. And further this device also has a Miui v5 that is bit enhanced and better also. MIUI is something very impressing and works very fast. It is good to find that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G does not run on the stock rom. MIUI is a quiet famous UI that is popular in our country. There is no news whether the phone will be getting Lollipop update or not. But most users will be having a eye on the same.
Performance:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G runs on a good hardware config. This makes the device a bit successful model. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Chipset. It is a kind of quad core processor that is clocked at 1.6 GHz processor and further it has as 2GB RAM support. And also it has an Adreno 305 gpu that manages all the graphic work. When it comes to performance then Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is something that offers you a more better output and long lasting performance. After running a few benchmarking test we are able to find that this device is capable of giving you good output on gaming and app usage. Xiaomi has always surprised people on performance part. They are giving the cheapest mobile phone with high end performance. But a few times you can find the device is getting hot while using the same.
Camera:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has a dual camera support. At the front side you get an upgraded 5 Megapixel camera which will let you to take great selfies. And also this camera is good enough for video chatting. At the back there is a 13MP camera which is further supported by LED Flash. Camera quality is fine here. The default UI makes things more easy to use. You can navigate quiet easily inside the phone and enjoy smooth usage. The default camera app offers you variety of settings. Like you can enable HDR, or you can just turn on Face Detection, etc. The camera helps you to take a bit impressive photos with less effort. To extend the camera output you can try various third party camera applications.
Battery:
The device runs on a huge 3100mAh battery. This battery is enough to give you a long lasting usage. At first I thought being a high end phone the battery life might be limited to 6 hrs due to a low battery support. But here 3100mAh is quiet a high battery that can give you an entire day of mixed usage. This is one of the biggest positive aspect of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. I can get more than 9 hours of battery output on this phone with all active things. Like internet, multimedia and a bit of gaming also.

Performance wise this model is capable of beating various other phones in the market. I am impressed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset performance on this model. It will be very hard for other manufacturers to beat Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.
