Xiaomi is currently on cloud nine with the success of Mi 4 and Mi4i, they have a record in number of sales Smartphone. Their Next Flagship Xiaomi Mi 5 is highly awaited and it will release later this year. However, all other Chinese smartphone companies are up with their new Flagship devices which will be released soon. Xiaomi need to buckle up as they may face serious competition from, Oppo, Lenovo, Meizu, Huawei and ZTE. Here are the leaked specifications of Mi 5 which indicates what a power-packed incredible Smartphone it is going to be.
Xiaomi Mi 5 will be unveiled this November. The Smartphone is currently under a secret name ‘Libra’ and as per leaks it will come out of the box running on the current Android 5.1.1 and will obviously be upgradeable to Android M. Moving on to the display. Mi 5 will come with a 5.3 inch Quad HD display with pixel density 564 pixels per inch. Proceeding to the processor it is said to come with an upcoming Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 CPU coupled with a massive 4GB RAM and Adreno 520 graphics processor.
Mi 5 will be launched in two variants with memory options of 16GB and 64GB to choose from. Also Mi 5 will support microSD card slot which is not available currently in Mi4 or Mi4i. So this seems to be an exciting addition from the company and this will make their phone flawless. It will sport 16 megapixel rear sharpshooter and 8 megapixel front camera. Mi 5 will pack a 3030mAh battery which will provide an extended battery life. Another exciting highlight is that Mi 5 will equip a fingerprint scanner. For now, wait patiently for the device to go on floor, like I am doing.
