Xiaomi launched its flagship smartphone ‘Mi 5’ last month in China and said to launch it in India somewhere in April. Well, the actual date is now announced and it is March 31st. They started sending the invites that mentions the date with time, i.e. 2.30 PM. The phone will be available for sale in India from April but the price is still unknown. We will the same during the launch.
Talking about the phone, Xiaomi Mi 5 is a beats with impressive design and power that includes Snapdragon 820 64-bit Quad-Core processor, up to 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage. It features a 5.15 inch Full HD display with curved glass offering 95% of the NTSC color gamut, 600 nits brightness and 1920×1080 pixels resolution. There is also a fingerprint scanner, Infrared sensor and USB Type-C.
For Photography fans, Xiaomi Mi 5 carries 16 Megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 4-axis OIS supporting up to Ultra HD 4K video recording. There is also a 4 Megapixel Selfie shooter with 2um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up with 3,000mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
