WhatsApp has finally added GIF support in the messenger for which we all have been waiting for so long. However, it is only available for the Beta Testers as of now but should be released to the world very soon in Stable version.
Talking about this new feature, it now lets you convert your existing videos or record a new video into GIF image. As said, you must have the latest Beta version to send, on other hand, the recipient too must be a Beta user with latest version too. By latest version, i mean v2.16.242 or above because that’s the version that carries GIF support.
To send a video as GIF you need to record a 6 seconds video and from the caption screen simply tap the Camcorder icon on the top to change it to GIF. That’s all. Tap the send button to send it as GIF.
Get the latest Beta version from PlayStore directly or get the latest WhatsApp Beta APK from this page and install it manually right away. It takes just one click to Download APKs from this page.
