Red Dead Online, which was a multi player element of the quite infamous Read Dead Redemption 2 released on 26 October 2018, has finally movedout from its Beta phase on 14 may 2019. It is now officially available to the public along with the copy of Red Dead Redemption 2.

But that’s not about it, the RDO moved out of its beta mode with the huge update which we are going to tell you about in this article. Read Dead Online’s biggest update has now added various new features including anti-griefing features, new revolver, poker, brand new missions, new clothing and other side activities. The PS4 and Xbox One players can expect more additional elements in the coming days. All these updates make the game even more interesting. Interestingly, with this update, players can play poker at different locations. The variant of poker that is available at the moment is Texas hold’em, which is similar to the poker mini game of original single player Red Dead Redemption 2. So, you can freely enjoy at any location, playing poker, having drinks with the people around or even with your friends and posse members.

There will be a variety of new Land of Opportunities missions based on the side of law you are on. Players on the Gunslinger path will go against the Del Lobos gang to help Marshall Davies save the town of Valentine and the ones on the Outlaws will take part in highway robbery and other works with Samson Finch.

There will also be many Free Roam missions featuring new characters from the main Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar has also added three new Posse Versus contest along with Poker, these include fishing, bird shooting, and herb picking.

The update has bring new game modes known as Offensive and Defensive play styles, which will enable you to choose how you want to enjoy the game.

The Offensive mode is the default play mode which enables you to freely attack the opponents while the Defensive mode is for the players who don’t prefer conflicting with other players and want to explore the gaming environment.

As we mentioned above, there will also be new anti-griefing features in RDO. The developer himself states that, this system “tracks aggressive behaviour across both Playing Styles, making hostile players visible to others and helping to balance the needs of players who want to get away from others who habitually attack or kill during unstructured Free Roam gameplay.”

Along with these changes, there are a lot more that the Rockstar has added to the RDO. These include various new challenges and rewards. New clothing includes a Poncho, which is a long waited piece of clothing from the main Red Dead Redemption 2.

The developer has also said that there will be new Free Roam Characters, Showdown Modes, new outfits, weapons and rewards to earn in the coming updates.
