The test bench on what we had the benchmark is:

- GPU: Nvidia GTX 980
- Motherboard: ASRock X79 Extreme 9
- RAM: 4GB X 2 Corsair Dominator Platinum at 2133Mhz
- SSD: Sandisk Extreme II 240GB
- PSU: Corsair RM650
Here we will check the gaming performance for the GTX 980 and for testing we will checkout multiple games. We will test out the GTX 980 on 4K, 2K and on full HD resolutions with Low, High and Ultra game settings.

Compute Benchmarks
OpenCL:
GTX 980 gives you 830 score at 4K resolution, 1450 at 2K resolution and 2260 at Full HD resolution.
OpenGL:
GTX 980 gives you 3050 score at 4K resolution, 3030 at 2K resolution and 3100 at Full HD resolution.
Temperatures:
GTX 980 goes up high up to 78 degrees on load and on idle it stays as cool as 35 degrees.
According to the results we can see the GTX 980 performs quite well comparing to the other graphic cards in or around the similar price range. These were the recent games that we did the benchmarks on.
